Privacy Policy — Fastino

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Overview

Fastino ("the app") is a free intermittent-fasting tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app accesses, where that data lives, and how it is used.

The short version: Fastino has no servers. Nothing you record in it is ever sent to us.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no backend, no analytics, no user accounts, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It performs no tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency, and it contacts no network service of ours — because there isn't one.

Apple Health

With your permission, Fastino reads two kinds of data from Apple Health so it can show them alongside your fasting history:

How that data is handled:

Granting Health access is optional. Fastino works fully without it; the sleep and weight panels simply stay empty. You can review or revoke access at any time in the Health app, under Sharing → Apps → Fastino.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your fasts and settings sync between your own devices through your own iCloud private database. This is Apple's CloudKit private storage: the data belongs to your Apple Account, and Baleware has no access to it and cannot read it. We operate no server that touches it.

Apple Health data is excluded from this sync entirely, as described above.

You can turn sync off in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud, by disabling iCloud Drive access for Fastino. Fastino keeps working as a local, single-device app.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following locally:

This data is not accessible to other apps, and is deleted when you delete the app. Deleting the app does not remove the copy in your own iCloud account; you can remove that in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Apple Watch

If you use the Apple Watch app, the watch and the iPhone exchange a single technical signal so that only one of them schedules your notifications and you don't get every alert twice. No fasting data is sent over this channel, and the signal is not stored on either device. Your fasts reach the watch through your own iCloud account, as described above.

Notifications

Reminders and goal alerts are scheduled locally on your device. There is no push server, so no notification is ever composed or delivered by us. Permission is requested only when it would first be useful, never on launch, and Fastino works without it.

In-App Purchases and Advertising

There are none. Fastino is free, contains no advertising, and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any data from children — it collects no data from anyone. It contains no tracking, advertising, or social features.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this page with an updated date.
